These are nonresidential facilities providing activities for the elderly and special-needs individuals. Most centers operate 10 to 12 hours a day and provide meals, social/recreational activities, and general supervision.

Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Agrace Adult Day Center is for older adults who cannot, or choose not to, stay alone all day. They may live alone with family members or in assisted living but need the reassurance and support of having others with them throughout the day.
